Details: A large and classic example of a 17th century bronze image of possibly the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. The bodhisattva is seated in Dhyanasana with his right hand in Vitarkamudra holding a small spoon and his left hand at his navel holding an ambrosia vessel. Buddha is depicted standing on an attractive and unusual quadruple lotus pedestal with an expression of blissful and compassionate wisdom.
