Details: A rare gilded 18th century Chinese repousse image of Sakyamuni Buddha. Buddha is depicted standing on an attractive and unusual quadruple lotus pedestal with an expression of blissful and compassionate wisdom. His right hand at his side in Varada Mudra and his left hand in Avakasha Mudra, held at chest level infront of the bunched hem of his long flowing and finely modelled robes.
